KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 — Two individuals, including a 16-year-old teenager, were killed when the car they were travelling in skidded and plunged into a ravine at KM 301.2 of the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway near Kajang early this morning.
Kajang police chief ACP Naazron Abdul Yusof said a report on the incident was received at 1.45am.
An initial investigation revealed that the car carrying four individuals was believed to have gone out of control before plunging into the ravine.
“Due to the impact, the driver, a 23-year-old private sector employee, and a 16-year-old male passenger were killed at the scene,” he said in a statement.
The other two passengers, a man and a woman in their 20s, sustained injuries to their legs and arms and were taken to the Serdang Hospital for treatment.
