KLANG, Oct 2 — Cannon fire echoed across Klang at 10.05am today as an 11-gun salute marked the solemnisation of the royal wedding between Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah and Datin Paduka Seri Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz.
The salute was performed by the 41st Battery of the Royal Artillery Regiment (Ceremonial) from the Sungai Buloh Camp.
More than 2,000 people attended the wedding procession, which began at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery here.
Crowds dressed in vibrant colours filled the air with excitement as they waved Selangor flags in honour of the Raja Muda.
During the procession, Tengku Amir Shah rode in a Rolls-Royce, waving to the crowd along the 1.2km journey from the gallery to the Royal Mosque in Istana Alam Shah.
The wedding ceremony at the Royal Mosque was led by Selangor Mufti Dato’ Anhar Opir.
