SHAH ALAM, Sept 18 — A Malaysia Airlines flight bound for Dhaka, Bangladesh, was diverted to Bangkok, Thailand, after pilots declared an emergency, reported aviation news portal AIRLIVE.net.
Flight MH102 departed Kuala Lumpur at 9.30am, landing in Bangkok at 11.45am after the diversion
“The Boeing 737-800, with registration 9M-MLN, was cruising at 36,000 feet over Myanmar when the crew declared an emergency,” the report said.
The plane turned right to Thailand and vectored to Bangkok, where it landed on runway 20L.
