PUTRAJAYA, Aug 5 — The Road Transport Department (JPJ) is expanding the JPJEID registration channels at Driving Institutes (IMs) nationwide effective today.
JPJ Director-General Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli said JPJEID is an account that contains an User ID and Password and every Malaysian citizen need to log in to the MySIKAP public portal and the MyJPJ application.
"With JPJEID registration, citizens can carry out 38 types of JPJ transactions online, including services related to driver licensing," he said in a statement today.
For example, individuals who pass the Driving Education Curriculum Test (KPP01) can now continue to apply for a Learner's Driving Licence (LDL) via the MySIKAP portal.
"After successful payment, the LDL licence will be displayed digitally via the MyJPJ application," Aedy said.
All candidates for learning to drive can now register for JPJeID at any IM to carry out various transactions via the MySIKAP public portal and the MyJPJ app.
JPJ hopes the initiative will further facilitate public access to department services and support efforts to fully digitise JPJ services.
