SHAH ALAM, Oct 2 – The services of My E.G. Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd, both under the MYEG Group, will be suspended as Road Transport Department (JPJ) collection agents effective Monday (October 5).
JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli said the suspension was made after taking into consideration compliance with the terms and conditions of the agreement.
The decision also took into account outstanding obligations that had yet to be fulfilled or resolved by the companies.
"JPJ would like to notify the services of My E.G. Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Berhad under the MYEG Group as collection agents on behalf of the department will be suspended effective 12.01am, October 5," he said in a statement today.
Aedy added that all JPJ services previously offered through the MYEG Group's channels will also be suspended from October 5.
He also assured that all the operations and service delivery to the public will continue as usual through official JPJ channels and alternative platforms provided.
For the computerised theory test (KKP01) made via MYEG channels before the suspension next Monday, bookings remain valid and may proceed as usual.
“For new bookings made from October 5 and onwards, the booking process and test administration must be conducted through KPP Test Centres located at driving institutes across Malaysia,” Aedy said.
On summonses payments by non-Malaysian citizens at Malaysia-Singapore border entry points, payment facilities will be provided via JPJ mobile units stationed at the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB) and the Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) in Johor, operating from 8am to 10pm.
He also advised the public to use the official channels provided to ensure that every transaction can be carried out smoothly and safely.
“JPJ remains committed to ensuring the continuity of service delivery to the people and ensuring that every transaction is carried out in an orderly, transparent and integrity manner,” Aedy said.
