SHAH ALAM, July 25 — Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj today attended the yasin recital and doa selamat at the Masjid Diraja Tengku Ampuan Jemaah in Bukit Jelutong here, in conjunction with Warriors’ Day.
The event, led by Selangor Mufti Datuk Anhar Opir, was also attended by Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah.
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, state executive councillor for Islam and innovation Dr Fahmi Ngah, and acting state police chief Mohd Zaini Abu Hassan were among those at the event.
The congregation then performed Friday prayers.
