SEPANG, June 5 — The state government, through its Selangor Pavilion, will join the Paris Air Show from June 16 to 22 in Le Bourget, France.
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the state’s second time at the global aviation event will let it promote Selangor’s products and strengthen its aerospace supply chain.
“Selangor will also exhibit information on the Selangor Aero Park development project at KLIA Aeropolis, launched today, as the latest aerospace product.
“(The air show) is also a platform to interact with industry players and investors to find out the latest aerospace market trends,” Amirudin said.

Earlier, he launched the Selangor Aero Park groundbreaking ceremony at the KLIA Aeropolis, officiated by Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook.
Malaysia’s participation in the Paris Air Show will be led by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) and National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia.
Matrade will showcase 15 Malaysian firms that specialise in aerospace manufacturing; maintenance, repair and overhaul, or MRO; system integration; engineering services; education; new space; composites; astronautics, and more.
