SHAH ALAM, May 16 — The state government consistently prioritises the welfare of teachers in formulating Selangor's education strategies, in line with its commitment to making education a top priority.
Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari said they are the beacons of knowledge who guide society to become individuals in service to their families and the nation.
“Without teachers, it would be impossible for us to achieve the various successes and prosperity we are enjoying today.
“In Selangor, education is always given precedence, and as someone who holds the education portfolio, I will always prioritise the welfare of teachers when planning the state’s educational strategies,” he said in a Facebook post today.
While conveying his wishes for a Happy Teachers’ Day, Amirudin described teachers as individuals who never tire or give up in educating the nation’s children.
“I wish a Happy Teachers’ Day to all the dedicated individuals who never know the meaning of exhaustion or hardship in educating our nation’s children — our teachers.
“Thank you to all the teachers who educate our children. Your contributions are always deeply appreciated,” he said.
