SHAH ALAM, April 18 — The state government, via Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI, has allocated RM6 million for this year’s muassasah haj incentive.
Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari said 6,000 pilgrims from the state will benefit from the RM1,000 assistance provided under the incentive.
“Since its implementation in 2022, a total of 12,000 muassasah pilgrims have been assisted by the Selangor government, 3,000 each in 2022 and 2023, and 6,000 pilgrims last year,” he said in a statement today.
Amirudin added that eligible pilgrims who are registered voters in Selangor may apply for the incentive from April 22 to July 25, 2025, at their respective state constituency service centres.
“To apply, they must bring a printed copy of the 2025 muassasah haj flight schedule showing ‘KOD MUAS’, and a copy of their Election Commission voter information confirming they are registered voters in Selangor,” he said.
