SHAH ALAM, March 20 — The Jualan Ehsan Rahmah (JER) affordable daily necessities sales programme, which offers lower prices compared to the external market, will be held at ST Rosyam Mall, Jalan Kebun, to help more residents shop affordably.

Sri Ternak Group managing director Datuk Raymond Ho Cheng Han said the sale comes after the encouraging response to the programme, which had previously been implemented at several of his supermarket branches.

“We have organised it before and will now expand JER here to make it easier for people to shop at low prices. This initiative will continue to help more people.

“The company’s mission and objectives align with those of the state government. We want to facilitate access to affordable shopping, which in turn can help reduce the cost of living,” he said.

Ho was speaking to the press after Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari officiated ST Rosyam's first shopping complex yesterday. The mart 24 hours a day throughout the year.

Meanwhile, noted actor and ST Rosyam Mart director Datuk Rosyam Nor said he considers the collaboration between his company and the state administration a significant achievement.

“We have been selected to jointly organise JER, which means the state recognises our efforts and mission in assisting those in need,” he said.

Via the 2025 Selangor Budget, the state government allocated RM30 million to implement JER. It also aims to open 10 Ehsan Mart outlets by the end of this year.

The supermarket branches are already operating in Sungai Tua and Pandan Indah, with another set to open in Hulu Kelang.

Managed by the Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation, these supermarkets offer essential goods at prices 10 to 15 per cent lower than the market.

Ehsan Mart, established as an enhancement to the JER programme, also aims to open in 56 state constituencies by 2027.
