KUALA LUMPUR, March 20 — Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) will provide four additional Electric Train Service (ETS) trains for the KL-Sentral-Butterworth and KL-Sentral-Padang Besar routes, including return journeys to meet travel needs in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
The additional ETS trains will operate on March 28 and March 30, two days before Hari Raya Aidilfitri and two days post-celebration on April 5 and April 6.
“The service offers 1,254 seats daily, including business class seat options. In total, 5,016 seats will be available during this period,” it said in a statement yesterday.
Tickets for the additional trains will go on sale today starting at 10am.
On March 3, KTMB announced that it would provide four additional ETS trains from March 28 to April 6, for a total of 40 trains daily and 117,996 seats.
Tickets can be purchased through the KTM Mobile app, the official KTMB website, or the KTMB kiosks.
