AMPANG, March 8 — Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari distributed sweet corn porridge and dates to visitors and traders at the AU 1 Ramadan bazaar in Keramat yesterday.
Accompanied by Hulu Kelang state constituency coordinator Juwairiya Zulkifli, he also mingled with visitors and purchased several dishes for breaking fast, including the traditional kuih tepung pelita.

Meanwhile, Juwairiya said that visiting Ramadan bazaars is an annual tradition, but this year’s event was made even more special with Amirudin’s presence.
“We distributed sweet corn porridge and dates. After this, he will break fast and perform the Maghrib prayer at Surau Taman Permata,” she said.
Amirudin later performed the Isyak prayer, the Tarawih prayer, and had moreh at Masjid An Nur Kampung Wira Damai in Gombak.
This year, 15,882 Ramadan bazaar lots have been set up across 244 locations under 12 local authorities.
