SHAH ALAM, March 2 — Some 34 suraus, including musollas at police stations, Fire and Rescue stations, and district police headquarters in the Pandan Indah state constituency, have received contributions in conjunction with the Ramadan fasting month.
Its state assemblyman Dato' Izham Hashim said the contributions consist of RM1,500 in cash for musollas and suraus, while three mosques in the constituency received RM2,500 each, along with dates.
He hopes the contributions will further enliven the activities of suraus and mosques throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
“Many thanks to the management of Masjid Nurul Hidayah for hosting the event. May these contributions help enrich the activities at suraus and mosques,” Izham said in a Facebook post on Friday (February 28).
He prayed that the worship and good deeds of all Muslims would receive blessings from Allah SWT throughout Ramadan.
“Ahlan Wa Sahlan Ya Ramadan. Alhamdulillah, we are grateful to Allah SWT for granting us the opportunity to once again experience this blessed month of Ramadan.
“Ahlan Wa Sahlan Ya Ramadan. Alhamdullilah, syukur ke hadrat Allah SWT dengan izinnya kita masih dipertemukan dengan bulan Ramadan yang mulia ini.
“Wishing everyone a blessed fasting month — purify the heart and increase acts of worship,” Izham said.
