SHAH ALAM, Feb 22 — Ramadan bazaars under the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) will start February 27, earlier than others.

MPAJ in a statement said 884 lots have been provided across 16 locations, with 55 lots still vacant in four bazaar sites.

“The four locations still with vacancies are Kompleks Muhibbah (22), Taman Sri Bayu (21), Taman Dato’ Ahmad Razali (4), and Taman Pandan Cahaya (8).

“Applications can be made via the e-trader system,” it said.

MPAJ added that it will run the MYSaveFood programme to prevent food wastage and shrink the amount of food waste at Ramadan bazaars.

The programme, to run from March 7 to 20, will be implemented with GEMA Malaysia Youth Organisation and target three main bazaars — the Pandan Indah municipal park, Bandar Baru Ampang, and Kompleks Muhibbah Taman Nirwana.
