SHAH ALAM, Dec 4 — KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd (KDEBWM) said it will assist post-flood cleanup by deploying its resources in affected states.
Its managing director Datuk Ramli Mohd Tahir said the company is awaiting instructions from the state government while remaining ready for potential floods in Selangor.
“KDEBWM is 100 per cent prepared across all areas in Selangor, but if we receive instructions to assist in Terengganu, Kelantan or Kedah, for example, we are ready,” he said.

Previously, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the state government will mobilise its machinery to assist post-flood recovery efforts in states affected.
He said Selangor is in communication with several government agencies to coordinate the movement of aid and volunteers, and is finalising the arrangements.
Flooding has affected several states in the country since last week, with Kelantan being the worst hit, logging 41,881 victims from 13,468 families in 93 temporary relief centers as at noon today.
Other states affected are Terengganu, Perak, Johor, Kedah, Pahang and Melaka.
