SHAH ALAM, Aug 29 — The collection of trophies, medals, and badminton rackets owned by the family of Datuk Mohd Sidek Abdullah Kamar will be exhibited at their residence in Kanchong Darat, Banting.
State executive councillor for culture and housing Borhan Aman Shah said the house, which is set to be turned into a heritage house and Selangor's latest tourist attraction, is currently being discussed with the Heritage Department before being finalised.

“We will also refurbish the chicken coop, which is synonymous with the Sidek children. This chicken coop was the ‘second home’ for the Sidek children whenever they were punished for misbehaving,” he said.
Previously, Datuk Mohmed Misbun Mohd Sidek expressed the hope that the efforts to turn his family home into a heritage house would proceed smoothly and become a popular tourism destination.
In November last year, Selangor organised the Anak-anak Sidek Exhibition, showcasing the achievements of the late Sidek's family, who raised five sons to become world-renowned badminton players.
He also trained Misbun, Razif, Jalani, Abdul Rahman, and Abdul Rashid on the court at their residence in Kampung Kanchong Darat, Banting, Kuala Langat.
The collection on display includes world badminton championship medals, Men’s Doubles Winner, All England, Commonwealth, Asian Games, SEA Games, and memorabilia from the five brothers.
