SHAH ALAM, Aug 27 — Global printing solutions provider Rongta Technology (Xiamen) Group Co Ltd is the latest firm to join the Selangor Soft Landing Programme, Invest Selangor Bhd announced today.
The China firm is set to operate in a coworking space in i-City Shah Alam.
“This China-based powerhouse is a leading innovator in automatic identification and data capture solutions, specialising in the creation, development, production and distribution of cutting-edge printing equipment, commercial scales, POS (point-of-sales) terminals, and PDAs (personal digital assistants).
“We're delighted Rongta Technology has chosen to partner with our esteemed coworking space strategic partner, Sidec Sdn Bhd, located in the vibrant i-City Shah Alam,” it said.
Invest Selangor also vowed to support Rongta Technology’s new venture in the state.
The Selangor Soft Landing Programme was launched by the state government in March this year with the aim of helping potential investors better understand the business ecosystem here and facilitate a smooth transition into the local market.
State executive councillor for investment, trade and mobility Ng Sze Han had said previously the programme centres Selangor as the preferred destination for investment by showcasing its investor-friendliness.
Among the programme’s main objectives is to provide a holistic platform and support for new and potential investors.
It aims to optimise investors’ feasibility study resources and assist them in accelerating the execution of investment projects.
Selangor is the first state in the country to introduce such an initiative.
