Another resident, Mohd Alway Elyas Al-Haj, 68, was impressed that Tengku Amir Shah consistently allocates time to meet his people.
“With today’s experience, it is the third time I have met the Raja Muda, who was in a cap and casual clothes mingling with the people. His Highness is a modern leader who is friendly to his people,” Alway said.
Gagasan Rumpun Selangor was launched to enhance national unity and the state’s community systems.
The tour has been held in five districts since February, starting with Hulu Selangor and followed by Hulu Langat, Sepang, Petaling and Kuala Selangor.
Previously, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, when tabling Selangor Budget 2024, said RM4.5 billion had been allocated to hold Gagasan Rumpun Selangor in nine districts.
