KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 — The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) swept three prestigious awards during the StarProperty Awards 2024 - Real Estate Developer at the One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya yesterday.
They include The Cornerstone Award - Best Landed Development for the Puteri Ariana project in Kota Puteri; The Family Friendly Award - Best Family Centric Development (Landed) - within Greater KL for the Ixora project at Antara Gapi; and the Readers' Choice Award - Newsmaker of the Year for the 2023 Discover PKNS Campaign.
PKNS' chief executive officer Datuk Mahmud Abbas said the group is always committed to ensuring quality development, addressing market demands for quality homes and landscaping, and placing people at the forefront of its endeavours by providing affordable housing solutions.
“These awards are a benchmark to show that we are on the right path as well as provide inspiration and motivation to develop properties that can help elevate the living quality and lifestyle of the people.
“The recognition is also an endorsement for us to continue moving forward and hoist PKNS to a higher level,” he said in a statement today.
The awards not only reflect the corporation's dedication to continuing to raise the bar in the property development sector by fulfilling the high level of specification and meeting buyers' expectations but also have a positive impact on the community and building industry in general.
As such, this recognition would also inspire PKNS to work harder to achieve the desired results.
Pembangunan Antara Gapi PKNS' general manager Lenny Liana Kasmain represented the corporation to receive The Family Friendly Award - Best Family Centric Development (Landed) - within Greater KL for the Ixora project.
For The Cornerstone Award - Best Landed Development for the Puteri Ariana project, Pembangunan Kota Puteri PKNS' general manager Mohd Shahrol Md Sharif stepped up to receive the award, while the group's sales and marketing general manager Fadli Mohd Ariff received the Readers' Choice Award - Newsmaker of the Year for the the 2023 Discover PKNS Campaign.
PKNS entered the Property Awards - Real Estate Developer for the second time, while the first participation last year saw PKNS being awarded The Starter Home Award-Best Primary Home Development Award for the Advena Residential Project.
The StarProperty Award, organised by StarProperty Sdn Bhd, is the best platform and receives the best recognition for every property development.
This year’s award involved 39 categories whereby individuals and property development companies qualify for the role they play in the development of the property development industry in the country.
