SHAH ALAM, April 9 — Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd has made preparations to ensure continuous treated water supply for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
It said the continuous supply duration will last from 7am on April 8 until 12am on April 16.
"Two jumbo water tankers (each carrying 40,000 gallons), 90 water tanker lorries (each carrying 1,200 gallons), and 424 static water tanks (each carrying between 500 to 600 gallons) will be deployed," Air Selangor said in a statement yesterday.
In addition, approximately 23,562 five-litre bottles will also be used for the continuous water supply period.
During this time, the water tankers and static water tanks will be spread out throughout Kuala Lumpur and the state's nine districts. They include:
- Sabak Bernam: Five tankers and 15 static tanks.
- Kuala Selangor: Five tankers and 51 static tanks.
- Klang: 10 tankers and 33 static tanks.
- Petaling: 10 tankers and 60 static tanks.
- Kuala Langat: Five tankers and 51 static tanks.
- Sepang: Five tankers and 28 static tanks.
- Hulu Selangor: Five tankers and 16 static tanks.
- Gombak: 10 tankers and 40 static tanks.
- Kuala Lumpur: Two jumbo tankers, 25 tankers, and 70 static tanks.
- Hulu Langat: 10 tankers and 60 static tanks.
