SHAH ALAM, April 8 — Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari distributed beef to Gombak's underprivileged residents to alleviate their burden in preparing for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
Each recipient received two kg of beef from the slaughter of four cows at the Rewang Anak Muda programme organised by Pemuda Gombak on Saturday (April 6).
“Alhamdulillah, five cows were slaughtered, four for distribution to those in need, while one was cooked for the Moreh Perdana programme.
“350 lemang sticks were also grilled for distribution to the recipients and served as provisions for Moreh Perdana,” he said in a Facebook post.
Commending the programme, the Gombak MP said this could foster cooperation and leadership among youths in facing future challenges.
