SHAH ALAM, Feb 13 — People have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of interesting dishes at reasonable prices at the Selangor Havoc Food Festival 2024 starting today.
State executive councillor for youth, sports and entrepreneurship Najwan Halimi said the programme in conjunction with the Selangor Asia Team Badminton Championship 2024 (BATC) features 160 food entrepreneurs from all over the state.
"This food festival provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to participate and enliven the BATC, which Selangor will host once again.
"It is also held in conjunction with the school holidays and the whole family can spend time bonding here," said Najwan Halimi after officiating at the festival today.
Held at the Setia Alam Convention Centre parking area here, Najwan said the festival was held over six days with a variety of interesting content.
According to him, visitors also can ride hot air balloons this Saturday and Sunday with prices starting at RM80 per person or through the family package provided.
"Today we also provide 100 food vouchers to the earliest visitors with a value of RM10,000. We aim for more visitors, especially on weekends," he said.
