SHAH ALAM, Aug 14 — The State Legislative Assembly members express their gratitude to the people for once again giving them the mandate in the 15th Selangor State Election on Saturday (August 12), and are determined to work even harder.

Pandan Indah state assemblyman Izham Hashim said he is thankful for being given the mandate again by its residents in order to continue developing the area for further progress.

"I did not the take competition lightly and relied on my service record for the previous five years. Alhamdulillah, I am still with Pandan Indah, with a good campaign strategy and unified support.

"This is a significant achievement, and I thank the voters. I will not waste the mandate given and will fulfil my duties even better than before," he said when contacted by SelangorKini.

Meanwhile, Kinrara state assemblyman Ng Sze Han said that he will continue to work as usual, serving the residents without exception.

"I obtained a vast majority, the highest in Malaysia. For me, having a high majority means a heavier responsibility in advocating for the people's interests.

"Nevertheless, I will continue providing the best service and will continue efforts to develop the Kinrara state constituency. This victory is the result of unity with our new friends, Umno and Barisan Nasional," he said.

Sungai Air Tawar state assemblyman Datuk Rizam Ismail described the victory as not for himself but as a gift to the people in the area.
