GOMBAK, Aug 11 — Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional's (BN) victory on polling day of the state elections tomorrow will ensure stability and boost Malaysia's economic progress.
Selangor Harapan chairman Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari said this is evident in several manifestos offered by the Unity Government, which prioritises the welfare of each and every group.
"Our plan (manifesto) is not just about giving out RM500, RM100 (in money). Over a period of five years, from 2018 to 2023, Selangor has successfully created 89,000 new job opportunities.
"Hence why with the tradition we have in the history of development and governance of this nation, we believe that for the next five years, we can create 100,000 high-income job opportunities for Selangor's residents," he said.
Amirudin was speaking at the Festival Grand Finale Kita Selangor #ArusMerahKuning event, held at AU2 Keramat yesterday night, which Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim also attended.

Harapan's candidate for the Sungai Tua state seat said he hopes the people will allow the coalition to form a unity government in Selangor for the next term.
This is because Harapan-BN's victory is not merely a matter of continuing development but also maintaining Malaysia's security and stability, which has been left in turmoil due to the treacherous actions of certain power-hungry individuals
"Therefore, on August 12, all Malays, Chinese, and Indians in Selangor must come out in force to ensure they vote for Harapan or BN. The people need unity, stability, and sustainable livelihoods, not chaos and instability.
"Be it first-time voters, to those who have voted six or seven times, this land is ours. It is our duty to protect Selangor from becoming a place for traitors who want to destroy the lives of our people, our politics, and our country.
"So, we need another five more years to continue our mission. We are Selangor!" he said.
