SHAH ALAM, July 14 — The Kuala Langat Municipal Council (MPKL) has extended the offer period for reduced parking compound fines, which are as low as RM15, until December 31 this year.
It said the reduced fine rate applies to offences that occurred in 2022 and earlier, while a RM10 rate applies to fines paid within a 24-hour period.
"Do not miss the opportunity to settle your outstanding fines at a special price, before legal action is taken," MPKL said in a Facebook post yesterday.
It said members of the public can pay the parking fines via the Smart Parking Selangor app, or at MPKL's payment counter.
