SHAH ALAM, May 26 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today performed Friday prayers at Masjid An Naim at Kampung Jalan Kebun.
His arrival at about 1pm was greeted by Agriculture and Food Security Minister cum Kota Raja MP Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, and Sungai Kandis state assemblyman Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni.
Imam Mohd Hafiz Hussain led the prayers and then delivered a sermon, titled Kesucian Kalimah Allah yang Maha Agung, to about 3,000 congregants.
After the prayers, the Prime Minister spent time with the congregation and then had lunch at the mosque.
