SHAH ALAM, April 26 — A Pusat Asuhan Tunas Islam (Pasti) kindergarten was destroyed in a fire caused by an accident, along Jalan Kebun in Section 30, this afternoon.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Morni Mamat said they received a call at 12.37pm, to which a team from four stations was dispatched to the scene of the incident.
"The fire involved the two-storey Pasti school, which is a Class B building. When the firemen arrived at the location, it had already spread to the shop building and the house adjacent to the kindergarten.
"The fire was brought under control within 50 minutes or so, with the extinguishing process underway. No injuries or casualties were reported," he said in a statement.
