SHAH ALAM, April 25 — Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari and his family visited the grave of his father Shari Mokhsin, who passed on two years ago.
During his visit yesterday, as part of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, they also paid a visit to the grave of his grandmother Nyaie Rom.
"It has been two years of not being able to celebrate Aidilfitri with Dad. May Allah's mercy be upon him," Amirudin said in a Facebook post.
The late Shari passed away on September 21, 2021, at around 5.30pm due to respiratory complications.
His remains was subsequently buried at 10.40am the following day, in the Muslim cemetery at Kampung Parit Asam Kumbang in Benut, Johor.
Similarly, the late Nyaie passed away on August 5 last year, following deteriorating health after suffering a stroke over five years ago.
