SHAH ALAM, Feb 28 — The repair works following a pipe burst incident at Persiaran Pekeliling, Section 3, Bandar Baru Bangi have been completed at 11.30am today.
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said water supply will begin to be distributed in stages to the consumers’ premises after the water supply system is stabilised.
“Full recovery of water supply is expected at 12am of March 1.
“The water supply recovery period differs from one area to another according to the location and distance of consumers’ premises,” it said on Facebook.
In the meantime, Air Selangor will continue to mobilise water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres and funeral homes during the unscheduled water disruption.
