SHAH ALAM, Jan 25 — Several parts of Selangor are anticipated to see heavy rain and thunderstorms this evening and into the night, says the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma).
The agency said in a Facebook post that along with Selangor, Kedah, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, and Sabah may also experience stormy weather.
Meanwhile, heavy rains are anticipated in other states, including Kelantan, Pahang, Johor, Putrajaya, Sarawak and Melaka.
At night, Terengganu and several areas in Kelantan, Perak, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Penang, Sabah and Sarawak are also expected to be hit with heavy rains.
Yesterday, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a danger-level heavy rain warning that is still in effect for a number of districts in Johor, Pahang, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Sarawak, and Sabah.
