KUALA TERENGGANU, Dec 31 — Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari had dinner with two Terengganu NGOs at Restoran Terowong Pulau Kambing here last night.
He arrived at around 8.30pm, and mingled with over 70 members of the Terengganu Culture, Arts and Social Organization (Pekesas) and the Terengganu Women's Charitable Organisation.
Amirudin said the meeting with NGO partners served to strengthen relations and friendships with one other.
"I hope this event can strengthen the administration at this time, working together to make future changes in Terengganu," he said during the dinner.
Earlier on, the Menteri Besar handed over RM500,000 in flood aid to the Terengganu state government to help victims in the state.
The donations were handed over during Amirudin's courtesy visit to the official residence of his Terengganu counterpart Datuk Seri Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar at Seri Iman in Kuala Terengganu.
