SHAH ALAM, Dec 20 — The Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj and the Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin express their highest appreciations to all the security personnel who are working around the clock to carry out the search-and-rescue (SAR) mission for the nine missing victims.
Their Royal Highnesses said they were proud of the preparedness and synergy of all the agencies involved since the beginning of the ordeal.
“Both Their Royal Highnesses greatly appreciate the efforts and earnestness shown by all parties and are also concerned when told that there are members who are injured, sick or facing tough challenges throughout the operation.
“The Sultan is also worried that the current unpredictable weather may make it more difficult for SAR efforts, which began on December 6, to continue,” said the Selangor Royal Office in a Facebook post.
Sultan Sharafuddin said he hopes all government departments and agencies involved will continue to be diligent and united throughout the mission.
His Royal Highness wishes for everyone involved to be given the physical and mental strength to complete the operation as well as prays the noble sacrifices of the rescuers would be rewarded by Allah SWT.
