SHAH ALAM, Dec 8 — Members of the public could submit their applications for the school admission assistance programme (Program Bantuan Masuk Sekolah 2016 Si Manja Tawas) this weekend at Metro Avenue 1 in Kajang.
The Warisan Anak Selangor Foundation (Yawas) on Facebook said the submission counter will be open from 10am to 4.30pm and only parents are encouraged to submit the application to avoid congestion.
Apart from that, Yawas also reminded the public to download their mobile app to smoothen the redemption process for members who were born in 2016.
Tawas, which is managed by Yawas, was officially launched during the state-level Merdeka celebrations on August 30, 2008.
The programme is open to all Selangor-born children who fulfill the conditions. Applications must be made before the child turns three. Tawas members will receive a payment of RM1,500 once they reach the age of 18.
