SHAH ALAM, Nov 8 — The rising water level at Sungai Klang in Taman Sri Muda is due to the high tide phenomenon following the continuous heavy rain earlier today.

As at 6.45pm today, state executive councillor for infrastructure Izham Hashim said that the water pumps in Taman Sri Muda are operating well.

“The current situation at Sri Muda at 6.45pm this evening. The water pumps are working well.

“The river water (level) is quite high due to the high tide phenomenon. Updates on the flood situation will be done from time to time,” Izham said on Twitter, sharing a video on the situation at the pump house in Taman Sri Muda.
