PETALING JAYA, Sept 13 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari launched Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd’s (Air Selangor) coffee table book, which detail’s the organisation’s journey in serving its consumers.
The book, titled ‘Menelusuri Kisah Air Selangor’ (Browsing the Story of Air Selangor) also includes the agency’s important historical highlights, roles and achievements since its restructuring in 2019.
He said the book will enlighten and raise the public's awareness of the water usage process, beginning at water treatment plants all the way to the consumers’ homes.
“I believe this book will be helpful in capturing history, especially on issues ofwater supply, including disruption,” Amirudin said in his speech during the book launch, at the One Utama Shopping Complex earlier today.
Also in attendance were Deputy Minister of Environment and Water Datuk Mansor Othman, and Air Selangor chief executive officer Suhaimi Kamaralzaman.
From 2019, Air Selangor served as the sole water supply service operator in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, following the conclusion of its restructuring process.
