SHAH ALAM, June 29 — Three cyber cafe premises were issued compound offer notices by the Subang Jaya City Council (MSBJ) for conducting their businesses without a license on June 27.
The check-up around Taman Sg. Besi Indah, Seri Kembangan was conducted in cooperation with the Sepang police.
“Three premises were inspected and three compound offer notices were issued under the Cyber Centers and Cyber Cafes By-Laws (MBSJ) 2007.
"Cyber center equipment including laptops, monitors, modems and closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras were also seized," MSBJ said in a Facebook post.
One person was also arrested during the raids, with the cyber center premises immediately closed and placed under police jurisdiction.
