Hicom rest area temporarily closed from June 27 for upgrading work

SHAH ALAM, June 24 — The eastbound and westbound Hicom rest area on the Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas) will be temporarily closed to the public from June 27 till July 19 due to upgrading work.

The Kesas Sdn Bhd public relations department issued a statement today informing about the closure, adding that it was related to the improvement of existing facilities.

“The westbound Hicom rest area (Kuala Lumpur-Klang) will be closed from June 27 to July 6 while the eastbound rest area (Klang-Kuala Lumpur) will be closed from July 7 to 19.

“Kesas users are advised to be cautious and comply with the signboards in the area. For more inquiries into the matter, contact the Kesas emergency line at 03-56337188 or visit www.kesas.com.my, or our official social media at Facebook and Twitter,” the statement read.
