SHAH ALAM, June 10 — The Jualan Ehsan roadshow selling fresh produce and wet items at affordable prices will be held once again in the Taman Medan state constituency this Sunday.
The Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS) said the lorry sale will be held at the Taman Medan Sunday pasar malam site and will sell chicken, fish, beef, fruits and vegetables at prices lower than the market.
"Seeing as how the public's response has been enthusiastic last wee, so we will organise once again for residents to obtain necessities at affordable prices.
"So we invite residents in the area to come and buy as they can save, in addition to getting fresh products," xxx said to SelangorKini today.
PKPS will be selling standard chicken at RM10.50 per kg, chicken packets at RM25 (2kg) and economy packet chicken at RM10 (800g)
Beef along with bones will be sold at RM32 per kg, with mackerel and selayang fish at RM8 per packet, together with fruits and vegetables at a low price.
Since February this year, the state government has carried out the Ehsan Price Intervention programme via the Jualan Prihatin Rakyat and Jualan Prihatin Mega initiatives, to reduce societal burden.
The programme has recorded over RM3.7 million in sales by selling standard chicken at RM12 a piece, fresh beef at RM35 per kg, Grade B eggs at RM10 per board, as well as mackerel and selayang fish at RM8 per packet.
