SHAH ALAM, June 8 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari officiated automotive e-commerce company Carsome PJ Automall in Petaling Jaya yesterday.
He also commended the company's opening, which was achieved by native Selangor residents, which has since recorded a profit of US$1.7 billion (RM7.47 billion)
"Carsome has now expanded to become the largest integrated car e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia.
"The opening of such a company is proof of the state government's business-friendly policies," Amirudin said on Twitter.
Meanwhile, state executive councillor for local government Ng Sze Han said Selangor is constantly encouraging new investments both domestic and international which have the potential to generate the state economy.
"Hundreds of thousands of small-and-medium companies are competing with one another with fresh and new ideas, which in turn spearhead Selangor's economic growth.
"May many more Unicorn companies set up in the state," he said in a Facebook post.
