SHAH ALAM, May 12 — Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari attended the Jalinan Aidilfitri open house organised by Invest Selangor Berhad (Invest Selangor) earlier today.
The ceremony held at the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) Convention Centre was also attended by state executive councillor for trade and investment Dato’ Teng Chang Khim, state executive councillor for local government Ng Sze Han and state executive councillor for youth, and sports development Mohd Khairuddin Othman.
About 1,500 guests from various state government departments and agencies as well as representatives of embassies and investor organisations attended the event.
They were served Hari Raya Aidilfitri delicacies such as lemang, nasi impit, rendang, kuah kacang and traditional kuih-muih as they were entertained by singers along with live bands.
This year, the state government decided to hold Hari Raya Aidilfitri open houses in every district in Selangor from this Sunday until 21 May to entertain the people.
