SHAH ALAM, May 3 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari organised a small-scale open house at his official residence in Section 7 earlier today in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
The event began at 9am to celebrate members of the State Executive Council Meeting (MMKN) people's representatives and heads of agency departments after they were unable to do so yesterday.
"The open house was planned on the first day of Aidilfitri but seeing as it was declared a day early, we decided to hold it on the second day of Syawal.
"I am very happy to be here with old friends and colleagues on this auspicious day. I thank all those who could come," Amirudin said.

Among the food served include ketupat, lemang, sate, nasi impit, kuah lodeh, kuah kacang, roti canai and ais batu campur.
The open house's attendees include Secretary to the State Government Datuk Haris Kasim, State Financial Officer Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin, state executive councillor for investment Dato’ Teng Chang Khim and state executive councillor Islamic affairs Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni.
Also seen at the event was Selangor State Legislative Assembly Speaker Ng Suee Lim, Selangor State Development Corporation chief executive officer Datuk Mahmud Abbas, Shah Alam mayor Datuk Zamani Ahmad Mansor and Kuala Langat Municipal Council president Datuk Amirul Azizan Abd Rahim.
Guests were also entertained with performances by Amirul Azizan who sang 'Salam Aidilfitri' at the request of the Menteri Besar.
