SHAH ALAM, April 15 — Strong weather is inbound for six areas in the state until early this evening, according to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia)
In a warning issued at 3.10pm, the agency said the districts include Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak and Hulu Langat, which will see inclement weather until 5pm.
The districts of Klang and Petaling will see similar weather until 6pm.

In other states and territories thunderstorms, heavy rains and strong winds are expected to hit Perlis, Kedah (Kubang Pasu, Padang Terap, Kulim and Bandar Baharu), Perak (Kerian, Larut, Matang and Kuala Kangsar), Pahang (Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub and Bentong), Negeri Sembilan (Jelebu, Seremban and Jempol) as well as Sarawak and Sabah.
MetMalaysia issues warnings whenever signs indicate a thunderstorm with a rain intensity exceeding 20 mm that is close to or is expected to occur for more than an hour.
A thunderstorm warning is a short-term warning valid for a period not exceeding six hours for a single release.
