SHAH ALAM, Jan 10 — A free health screening programme is scheduled to be held in the Bandar Utama state constituency on January 15.

Its state assemblyman Jamaliah Jamaluddin said the programme, in collaboration with Assunta Hospital, will run from 8.30am to 12pm at Balairaya Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara in Petaling Jaya.

“The programme is to create awareness among the public on the importance of looking after our health and practising a healthy lifestyle.

“The initiative is open to 40 individuals from the low-income groups (B40) and priority is given to those residing in Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara,” she said when contacted.

She said among the terms and conditions include Malaysian citizens earning a monthly income of RM2,500 and below and would need to present their salary slip or confirmation letter as recipients of assistance by the Social Welfare Department.
