SHAH ALAM, Dec 27 — Several spots in the city that were affected by the floods and resultant cleanup waste were cleaned yesterday.
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari shared pictures on Twitter last night of the situation before and after in Jalan Padang Jawa, where one location took under 20 minutes to be cleared.
“Several locations in Shah Alam which were revealed to have been filled with waste piles and flood waste, have since been fully cleared.
"These efforts will be continued and further enhanced," he tweeted.
The state government aims to complete the post-flood cleanup and waste collection within two weeks.
Amirudin said so far the process is at 25 per cent, with the hopes it can be increased to 50 per cent this weekend.
