SHAH ALAM, Dec 23 — KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM) is actively carrying out post-flood cleanup efforts in removing bulk waste in Selangor.
The wholly-owned subsidiary of Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) (MBI) had provided 832 arm roll trucks and roll-on, roll-off (RORO) bins for the waste collection operations.
“Some 2,000 workers and operations officers were deployed for the cleanup works and we are targeting to complete the task on December 24,” said KDEBWM.
For further information or any complaints, contact the KDEBWM hotlines at 019-375 9592, 019-375 3980 or WhatsApp 019-274 2824.
KDEBWM had begun clean-ups in stages in flood-hit areas since Sunday.
The continuous downpour from December 17 to 19, which saw the highest rainfall ever recorded in Selangor, had resulted in extensive flooding throughout the state.
