SHAH ALAM, Dec 22 — Residents of Sungai Kandis were provided with 1,000 Covid-19 self-test kits by Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI yesterday.
Its Corporate Social Responsibility head Ahmad Azri Zainal Nor said the assistance is part of MBI’s allocation to help flood victims in Selangor.
Alongside this, 500 packs of formula milk and baby diapers were also distributed to Kampung Jawa temporary relief centre (PPS) two days ago.
On December 19, Sungai Kandis assemblyman Ahmad Zawawi Ahmad Mughni assisted in distributing several items including dried foods, sanitary pads, formula milk and baby diapers to the PPS.
MBI also provided hundreds of dried food boxes to other PPS, including the one at Sekolah Kebangsaan Desa Pinggiran Putra in Sepang, and the one at Section 16 in Shah Alam.
