SHAH ALAM, Nov 27 — The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) has organised a convocation for 17 of its staff who have graduated with an Executive Diploma in Facilities Management today.

PKNS chief operating officer, Suhaimi Kasdon said the convocation ceremony was a testament to the success of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between PKNS through its subsidiary, Akademi PKNS and UiTM Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Surveying (FSPU), on Nov 2, 2019.

“Through this programme, they not only obtain a diploma but also improve their skills and knowledge in building management which will definitely make them more efficient and skilled employees.

"The success of this programme will be a starting point for a more extensive cooperation in future such as obtaining consultation directly from academic experts of UiTM," he said in his speech at the opening of a special ceremony at PKNS headquarters, here today.

FSPU dean, Prof Dr Jamalunlaili Abdullah said all 17 participants gave their full commitment since the first day of the programme and today, they were able to reap the rewards of their hard work for two years.
