SEPANG, Nov 24 — The Kota Warisan/B40 Missing Link project is set to benefit over 20,000, once it is opened to the public tomorrow.

State executive councillor for infrastructure Izham Hashim said the road connecting Kota Warisan and Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi acts as an alternative route for traffic dispersal along existing roads.

"The 4.8-kilometre project has cost RM105 million, saving RM4 million as the earlier estimate stood at RM109 million.

"If we follow the regular route without traffic to connect Kota Warisan and Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, it takes 15 minutes. But with this road it can be reduced to only five minutes," he said after officiating the road yesterday.

The project, fully funded by the state government, began on November 2017 and was completed on May 6 this year.

Its cost also include the construction of four roundabouts and two intersections to connect to existing roads.
