SHAH ALAM, Aug 10 — Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari conveyed his condolences on the passing of Hulu Langat Covid-19 Assessment Centre (CAC) director Afizan Mohamad, due to Covid-19 yesterday.
In a statement on his Facebook page today, Amirudin said the late Afizan had done a lot to help patients who were infected with the virus.
“Condolences on the passing of the late Afizan Mohamad, Hulu Langat District CAC head, who has contributed a lot to help patients. May his soul be blessed and placed among the faithful.
“Prayers also for the family members, friends and workers at the Hulu Langat District Health Centre (PKD). May all stay strong and persevere in this test,” he wrote.
The late Afizan who was also Hulu Langat PKD chief environmental health officer died at the Serdang Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at midnight and was buried yesterday.
