SHAH ALAM, June 18 — Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari congratulated Muhammad Farid Wahid, 26, on receiving the 2020 Best Accounting Student award at the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) International Accounting Conference 2021.
Amirudin said the awarding ceremony for the Universiti Selangor (Unisel) graduate was conducted online during MIA’s international conference that was held virtually from June 8 to 10.
“Congratulations to Muhammad Farid Wahid, a graduate of Universiti Selangor (Unisel), who received the 2020 Best Accounting Student award from Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA,” said Amirudin on Facebook today.
Muhamad Farid also received a professional management scholarship from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and RM500 in cash.
He completed his Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) in December 2020 and now holds a position under Petronas Protégé- Graduate Employability Enhancement Scheme (GEES) as a junior executive.
